We’re confronting narratives about the Black Maternal Health Crisis by  flexing our narrative power. By uplifting our voices, we give space for Black culture to live, heal and thrive. We focus on intentional relationship cultivation, amplifying our personal stories, shared experiences, traditions, practices, culture and joy through digital journalism.

Black Women in Bloom is a limited-edition coffee table book and global storytelling experience celebrating the becoming journeys of Black women across the diaspora. We’re hosting a community conversation with the Owner and Author, and it’s a celebratory afternoon to give ourselves (Black Women) our flowers.

Supporting our first Community Pantry Pop-Up for the DFW Community! It is a Family Game Day theme. We’ll have Uno, four-square, and other childhood games we love. We’ll also have light snacks and drinks, but families will get to have a good time playing in community, while we help to address their material needs.

Black Maternal Health Week 2027 will take place from April 11–17, 2027. And this year, our theme is Curating Our Joy. Will be talking about the need for community, how to build our village, and how we are curating joy. We’ll be joined by our guest speaker, comedian and influencer, Tee Sanders.
