Ebony Alert Washington
This initiative is vital for addressing systemic issues, social justice, and promoting equality within the African American community.
Washington State has already implemented a Red Alert system to address the disparities surrounding missing Indigenous people. Recognizing the similar systemic inequities faced by Black and Indigenous communities, it’s clear that an Ebony Alert is urgently needed to address the disproportionate number of missing Black women, girls, and children. The statistics demand action.
The Ebony Alert Initiative would bridge this gap by creating a dedicated alert system for missing Black individuals. It would mobilize resources quickly, increase media coverage, and garner greater support from law enforcement. By signing the Washington Ebony Alert Petition and
